Pakistan:Musharraf Hints At Another Term

President Pervez Musharraf publicly indicated that he might seek another term, saying the current Parliament and provincial legislatures could re-elect him before his term expires on Nov. 15, 2007, and they are dissolved for new elections and replaced. In a television interview, he said a new presidential election could legally be held two months before his term ended. Under the Constitution, Parliament and the provincial legislatures elect a president.
